Surrey Fusion Festival
Festival lovers have two major events to choose from this (gorgeous) weekend: the Vancouver Folk Music Festival and the Surrey Fusion Festival.
The massive Surrey Fusion Festival is an annual celebration of multiculturalism that attracts over 60,000 people. The free, two-day festival features performances and music on three main stages and has 60 different international pavilions that showcase food, music, dance, and crafts from around the world.
The festival runs July 18 – 19 in Surrey’s Holland Park, about 45 minutes by car from downtown Vancouver.

This event was great. I attended last year and this year was even better. This event really defines the multiculturalism in metro Vancouver.

Fantastic Event, looking forward to it next year as well. Canada is a melting pot of different ethnic groups and this is the perfect example of a celebration of that diversity!
