Robson Square, LiveCity Downtown, Royal Canadian Mint Pavilion & More – Free Olympic & Paralympic Events Continue in March

Robson Square Celebration Site will reopen March 8 - 21 for the Vancouver 2010 Paralympics

Last night, my girlfriends and I got together for dinner and the conversation kept straying back to the one thing all of Vancouver is talking about: Olympic withdrawal.

After 17 amazing days of excitement, world-class sports, record-breaking numbers of Canadian gold medals, and seemingly endless nightly parties—both inside international houses and on the streets of downtown Vancouver—it’s hard to adjust to a city that’s gone back to “normal.”

But it’s not completely over yet! Most of our visitors may have left, but with the Vancouver 2010 Paralympics coming March 12 – 21, there’s still plenty of Olympic fun happening in March.

Which means: If the mega crowds kept you away from some of the biggest FREE Olympic party sites and most popular Pavilions, March will be your opportunity to catch up on what you missed!

Keep in mind that you can see—and pose with—an Olympic Gold Medal at the Royal Canadian Mint Pavilion (our blogger Suzanne did it during the Olympics and had to wait 5 hours!), and the Stanley Cup at the Canada Pavilion at LiveCity Downtown.

Of course, the real question is: When Robson Square reopens, will there be shorter queues for the zip line?
