Hometown: Pinawa, MB
How long have you been a Vancouverite? 24 years
Occupation:
Design + Advertising/Janitor at Burnkit
Favourite place in the city:
The south side of the Port of Vancouver—the constant flurry of activity down there is like a mini version (microcosm) of the changes that happen in the city all the time, plus, it’s inspiring. It’s a reminder to work hard and keep moving.
Best way to spend a Saturday in the city:
Riding around Stanley Park with a special friend, and ending up in the bamboo alcove with a bottle of wine, I mean, uh, fizzy water.
Favourite Vancouver restaurant:
Maybe it’s because I’ve worked a block away from it for almost a decade, but one place that’s a constant is the Alibi Room. It’s got such a neighbourhood feel for me, and a well-curated beer and food menu, so it’s a good place to meet up with friends or clients. New bonus: it’s halfway between work and home for me now.
Top insider tip for visitors:
Walk! Taking cabs is for suckers. Keep a rain jacket on hand and keep the faith when people say, “It’s beautiful in the summer, I promise!”

Our think our Principal – Corinne & Creative Director – Christine would be wonderful for featured Vancouverites :-)
Christine our Creative Director was born and raised in Vancouver. Corinne our Principal has been in the Vancouver area for almost 20 years. Both are vibrant, creative, lovely women that love living, working and playing in Vancouver. Both are active in the social, musical and theatre communities in Vancouver. Corinne is also a member of local Vancouver band Los Furios.
I am the social media queen/office manager here at Greenscape and would love it if you would consider featuring the girls.
Thank you
