You all know that Dine Out Vancouver 2011 is just around the corner, literally! You will be able to make your reservations as of January 6 and if you’re following us on twitter, you’ll get a sneak peek on January 5!
As well as the three-course menus at $18, $28 and $38 available at 215 restaurants, there are also a ton of culinary events happening this year. Cooking classes, market tours, a food & wine Ocean Wise event, theatre shows paired with delicious dinners… the list goes on! And don’t forget that you can make a night of it with hotel stays at $68, $98 and $138! Be sure to check out the Dine Out website for information on all events, hotels and restaurants.

La Terrazza would be my choice because it has the ambience of a restaurant in Rome with old world charm and furnishings straight out of Europe. The food is so esquisite as they master the art of fine cuisine making it so inducive to stimulating conversation with friends and loved ones.

Vij’s would be great! Their have super yummy food, a nice wine list and a cozy atmosphere. The back room waiting area with drinks and nibbles is always a draw too. ;)

I would like to recommend Lolita’s on Davie street.
It’s a trendy, yet cozy mexican restaurant with amazing food and a great wine selection. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit.

Gorilla Food on Richards Street (near Cordova). I wish this place could expand, they have fantastic food. I would recommend trying their desserts especially the carrot cake !

I would LOVE to see Cork & Fin on the Dine Out list! Have been dying to try this place out but haven’t had the time so this could give me the kick I need. I always make time every year for Dine Out! I’ve been waiting anxiously for the 5th to arrive so I can start planning my Dine Out schedule :)

I also like the Pear Tree, a french cuisine restaurant in the heart of Burnaby, the Heights area. It’s owned by a family, but their food is simply delicious!
