Grouse Mountain Olympic Celebration: 24 Hours of Winter, February 12 – 13, 2011

Along with all the amazing free Olympic Anniversary Celebrations happening around Vancouver this weekend (find the complete list here), Grouse Mountain is hosting it’s own Olympic Anniversary with the special two-day event 24 Hours of Winter.

During Grouse Mountain’s 24 Hours of Winter, visitors to the famous North Vancouver ski and snow sport resort get to feel the rush of skiing at sunrise or snow shoeing at midnight, since the mountain will be open 24 hours. The celebration doesn’t end on the snow, though—the weekend is packed with special events to round out your experience, including a Torch Light Parade, Theatre in the Sky, nighttime ziplining, and a live DJ at Altitudes Bistro.

Grouse Mountain’s 24 Hours of Winter runs from February 12 – 13, 2011.
