The Fringe Festival presents Lucky 9

Ever thought of a different way in which you could connect better with your family? I know, who hasn’t.

On the edges of energy, creativity and community lies The Vancouver International Fringe Festival. The festival typically runs mid-September but as luck would have it, the show Lucky 9, by TJ Dawe, is back for one night Saturday Feb.19 at Performance Works on Granville Island.

This night will be a mash up between cleverly told autobiographical tales from Fringe Festival veteran, TJ Dawe and a dialogue between him and one of his heroes, downtown eastside family physician Dr. Gabor Mate.

To learn more about himself and connect better with his family, TJ Dawe drew on inspiration from the HBO series, The Wire, Enneagram personality system, and Dr. Mate’s books.

Tickets are $15 (still available online) or at the door. Show starts at 8 p.m.
