Vancouver Police Museum’s Bootleggers’ Ball

To celebrate their 25th anniversary, the Vancouver Police Museum is throwing a prohibition-themed shindig next Friday, April 8 at the Biltmore. This fundraising event is inspired by their ever-popular Sins of the City Tour (which we blogged about just recently!).

Get ready to dress up in your best pin stripes and flapper dresses, and experience an evening of music, Vaudeville and burlesque. There will be prizes for the best dressed, so get creative!

Entertainment will provided throughout the evening by The Creaking Planks, The Vaudevillians and the burlesque talents of Lola Frost, Darla DeVine and Lacey L’Amour. I did also hear a little rumour out there involving bathtub gin….

Tickets are only $40 and can be purchased here. Get in quick before it’s too late! All proceeds go to support the Vancouver Police Museum and its efforts to collect, preserve and share the history of lawlessness and law enforcement in Vancouver.
