Canucks’ Ryan Kesler Nude in ESPN Magazine Out October 7

Vancouver is all aflutter at the news today that Canucks’ Ryan Kesler—who last year posed in his underwear for The Vancouver Sun to promote his Firstar RK17 clothing line—will be posing nude for ESPN’s The Magazine’s third-annual “Body Issue.”

USA Today reports that the issue, which hits newstands on October 7, features 20 athletes in their birthday suits (with their ‘important bits’ strategically covered, of course), including Kesler, in the “Bodies We Want” section of the magazine.

Other athletes who are baring it all (or, almost all) include speedskater Apolo Ohno, women’s soccer star Hope Solo, WNBA’s Sylvia Fowles, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, IndyCar racer Helio Castroneves, snowboarder Louie Vito, track and field star Natasha Hastings, and hockey player Julie Chu.

If the ESPN The Magazine ‘Body Issue” sells out locally, you can always subscribe online: ESPN The Magazine.

Hello, your photo credit is wrong. The Vancouver Sun borrowed this photo from Firstar Sports, the performance clothing company which is responsible for Ryan Kesler’s clothing line. I suggest you change it to Firstar Sports. Their website is firstarsports.ca, Kesler’s website is rk17.com Thank you.

      Shelby,

Thanks for the info. I updated the photo caption, though I did still attribute Vancouver Sun (because that’s where I got it).

      Thanks again,
      Dana
