The 8th annual Vancouver Diversity Health Fair is the largest event of its kind in Canada and has evolved into one of the most exciting and dynamic multicultural events in the Lower Mainland—plus it’s free!
Taking place March 3, 2012, the Fair provides locals, newcomers, immigrants and ethno-cultural communities with access to a wide range of health and wellness resources: there will be over 50 health and wellness exhibitions, free health screenings and onsite tests, cooking demonstrations, interactive fitness workshops, and a Healthy Kids Activity Zone. There will also be live entertainment in the form of Multicultural Performances, which include Vietnamese line-dancing, Latin Fitness Dancing, and Cuban Salsa.
The Vancouver Diversity Health Fair will also provide information in a number of languages, including Cantonese, French, Korean, Vietnamese, Farsi, Punjabi, Spanish and Mandarin.
The Fair happens at the Croatian Cultural Centre (3250 Commercial Drive) from 10am – 3pm on Saturday, March 3.
