If you like beer, half-nekkid ladies and danger-defying men, Beerlesque II (Sept 21 6 – 11 p.m.) is just the ticket. And if you like guys named Chip, you’re in for a real treat.

Besides some of Vancouver’s premiere burlesque performers and a number of Pacific Northwest craft brews, this year’s Beerlesque also features the Comic Strippers, a male stripper parody review featuring six dancers all named Chip. According to creator and Vancouver comic Roman Danylo, the review is “an explosion of ridiculousness.”

Meanwhile, some of the hottest names in the city’s tassel scene will take things a little more seriously – but not by much.

Burgundy Brixx and Nicky NineDoors, as well as Diamond Minx, Rebel Valentine, Jenny Magenta, and Melody Mangler, will perform. Beerlesque II also hosts The Danger Thrill Show, which features Spooksy Delune and Silk E. Gunz along with Neil E. Dee, whose act includes shoving a running drill bit into his head.

Neil will probably need a craft beer after that. Heck, we’ll all need a craft beer (or two) after that.

He’ll have his choice of brews from Russell, Storm, Central City, Tofino, Big Ridge, Brewhouse at Whistler, Red Truck, Steamworks, Lighthouse, Howe Sound, Driftwood, Alameda, Elysian, Anderson Valley and Parallel 49.

There will also be food carts (Mogu and Beer Brats so far) on site.

The sequel to last year’s inaugural Beerlesque, the second edition is a co-production of Vancouver Craft Beer Week and the Roundhouse Community Centre (181 Roundhouse Mews, Davie and Pacific).

Tickets: $55 Adults (19+) Inclusive of all entertainment and beer tastings. All proceeds will support Roundhouse Community Programs.
