“An explosive, astounding piece of new writing…” the Observer/Guardian said of Mark O’Rowe’s Terminus.

Taking place on one night in Dublin, Terminus has been described as “a hip-hop opera for three souls” and “like the love child of James Joyce and Quentin Tarantino.” And if that isn’t enough to sell you…

In Terminus, a serial killer dreams of singing Bette Midler tunes, a teacher races to save a former student from a barbarous gang, and a young woman finds love in the arms of a demon. Oh, and it’s told entirely in rhyme.

Dark, disturbing, poetic, and comic, Terminus is presented by Vancouver theatre company Pi Theatre. Richard Wolfe directs this three-person work, which includes cast members Leanna Brodie, Pippa Mackie, John Emmet Tracy.

Originally commissioned by the Abbey Theatre in 2007, Terminus has astonished and thrilled audiences around the world. Pi is thrilled to bring this amazing play to Vancouver.

Terminus runs March 1 – 17 at Performance Works (1218 Cartwright St.) on Granville Island. For show times and tickets visit pitheatre.com or call 604-689-0926. For further information, please visit www.pitheatre.com
