This one’s for Vancouver cyclists and aspiring cyclists. The Vancouver Bike Show, Western Canada’s largest biking event, is rolling back into town Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3.
B.C., particularly Vancouver, is swarming with avid cyclists across all disciplines: road cycling including bike commuting, mountain biking, touring and BMX. The annual Bike Show has something for everyone, whether you’re after new gear, new cycling destinations, new races or just the hook-up with more local bikers and community events. The event goes down at the waterfront situated Vancouver Convention Centre. Tickets for adults are $10 in advance via the web or $12 at the door.
Kids are not neglected. The Vancouver Bike Show has a pretty exciting Kranked Kids Zone – an interactive mountain biking learning area where kids ages 3 to 10 learn and test new bike skills. The Vancouver Bike Show is free for kids 12 and under.
