Looks like they have paused registration until 3pm PST. I think their website couldn’t handle all the traffic! Check back then…

      Official statement from Lululemon:
“We will be re-opening registration on Monday February 3, at 10:00am PST. Over 80% of spots are still available for the SeaWheeze Half Marathon and based on the excitement we saw yesterday, we know they will go fast when registration re-opens.”

Please unregister everyone that got through the first time. Make it fair for all would be participants.

My friend got registered and I was right behind her, but when I tried, it said my registration would be released in ten minutes, then nothing happened and I found myself being made again to wait ten minutes. I was not able to click on the registration box for the half at all, it said pending and clicking on that pushed up into this ten minute thing. Very difficult , and eventually the time that passed , looks like it caused me to MISS out, as the registration spot now says its sold out. I have entered thousands of races and this is the first time this has happened!

Same thing happened to me! Kinda frustrating as it was going to be my first half marathon and I was going to do it with a friend. She got through and I didn’t.

I am soooo disappointed that I missed out as I have wanted to do this half for two years. Now I have to wait another year I am getting old. Is there a wait list for next year?

  6. My relatives all the time say that I am killing my time here at web, except I know I am getting experience every day by reading thes good posts.

The folks running the SeaWheeze half marathon should do what is right and unregister the 20% of people that were able to complete the process the first go around. This makes it fair for everyone trying to register for this race on Monday.

Not sure why I received a “pending” reply when I tried to register – I think it was before 10:10 this morning. The message said to check back later. Is it really sold out? Hard to imagine getting into the registration page and not being able to simply pay for the event. I am so disappointed! My new daughter in law invited me to join her – it was to be a very special time sharing training notes with her over the coming months.

Will there be more registrations up for grabs close to the race?
