Featured Vancouverite: Dr. Divi Chandna

Dr Divi Chandna

Hometown: Windsor, Ontario

How long have you been a Vancouverite? 9 years (wow!)

I’ve been practicing family medicine for 20 years. After the first five years in traditional allopathic medicine, I began my search for alternative remedies. I am also a mind-body medicine coach, yoga teacher, meditation teacher and certified medical intuitive.

I currently take my strong knowledge base in Western Medicine combined with alternative medicine to help people get to the root of their disease. Through the marriage of these disciplines, I am able to work with clients, and guide and empower them on their healing journey. My primary focus is to help patients integrate that state of wellness inside of them. My job is to teach, guide and show my patients the paths that will allow them to heal and create greater wellness from the inside out.

Best way to unwind? Yoga, meditation or a long walk in Stanley Park.

Best way to spend a Sunday morning in Vancouver: Watch my son play hockey and my husband coach.

Top insider top for visitors:
Skip the tour buses, lace up your hiking boots and head to the trails in Stanley Park.
