Is your mouth watering yet? The Vancouver Baker’s Market is an annual sweet treat held in the Spring time that celebrates and showcases scrumptious, delectable, and heavenly baked goods.
This year, the 2014 Baker’s Market is a free indoor event that is held on February 16 & 23, March 2 & 9, April 20 & 27, and May 4 from 11am to 3pm at the Moberly Arts & Cultural Centre (7646 Prince Albert Street, Vancouver).
The event offers free parking, free admission, and free samples of all the delightful delicacies. You’ll find talented budding, professional or home bakers selling fresh artisan breads, soft German pretzels, butter croissants, chocolate croissants, cupcakes, cookies, hand made chocolates, brownies, Belgian Liege waffles, vegan treats, mini bundt cakes, muffins, gluten-free baked goods and much more!
It’s best to arrive with an empty stomach, because you’ll be wanting to give everything a taste. And rest-assured, you’ll have a hard time leaving empty handed. So, bring some extra cash!
If you’d rather be a part of the action and you’re interested in selling your own home-baked goods, you can also apply to be a vendor at the Baker’s Market.
