Easter at the Cannery; 10:00AM-5:00PM @ Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site (12138 Fourth Ave), Steveston Village, Richmond
Regular admission rates
Head out to the Cannery this weekend for the Easter Scavenger Hunt!  Look for clues hidden inside the historic building and be awarded Easter treats as prizes.  There will also be kids crafts, a chocolate Easter bunny draw, and more!  The Easter Salmon will be busy throughout the day hiding Scavenger Hunt clues.  On through April 20.

This popular tulip festival starts April 17 and lasts about two weeks, until all the blooms are gone!  This year the fields are 1km walk away from the parking area, so wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.  More info at the link.

A collection of amazing Japanese folk tales including worlds where ogres clash with heroes who are born from giant peaches, fishermen fall in love with dragon princesses, and magical dogs reincarnate. John Nature Vancouver for an exploration of marine life in the sandy and rocky areas of the shoreline.  The tide will drop to 2.3ft at approximately 3PM, giving you ample time to explore as the tide recedes.  Spring often yields seasonal finds such as barnacle-eating nudibranchs, or their eggs, and bryozoans on kelp. Record Store Day was conceived in 2007 as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding independently owned record stores internationally.  Special vinyl and CD releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for the day.
