Take one scuba diver, add an ocean, a pumpkin, a knife and wait until dark… and what do you get?

All the ingredients necessary for an annual tradition in Vancouver – underwater pumpkin carving!

Just before Halloween a group of divers got together at Whytecliff and spent the evening designing and carving their masterpieces. Others were on hand to photograph the event, and help out on shore with coffee, hot chocolate and lots of Halloween goodies.

All in all, a ‘boo’tiful evening…

But why wait until Halloween?

Every Wednesday evening local divers get together around 6 pm for an evening dive. So if you’re an avid diver, or just want to hang out, everyone is welcome.
