KitsFest – Vancouver’s Hottest Beach Festival is Back August 5-7

Now in its 8th year, and with over 10,000 visitors per day, Vancouver’s ultimate sports and healthy lifestyle festival is back and has some new additions to the line up, as well as classic events we all want to watch.

KCC Family Zone New this summer is the Kitsilano Community Centre’s family area, located at the grassy spot between Kits beach / Rick Hansen Playground and the Basketball courts. Family-friendly activities like crafts, volleyball, family Zumba, touch football, etc that take place here throughout KitsFest! Be sure and check out new Ivivva Kids Yoga on the Beach, August 5th 5.30pm

Beach Basketball One of highest profile beach basketball tournaments in Canada, including both boys and girls youth divisions, as well as a men’s competitive division, this event draws big crowds.

Water Polo A new inflatable arena will be set up adjacent to beach volleyball, be sure and check out this exciting event.

lululemon Sunset Yoga On August 5th at 7pm lululemon hosts an inspiring yoga event while the sun sets into the sea. Place your mat right on the sandy beach and soft drum beats guide you through a class you’ll never forget.

Steve Nash Fitness Spin By The Sea How about a beach front spin class? Will Blunderfield leads these workouts with a view throughout the festival.

KitsFest 2016 Tennis presented by Babolat A tennis tournament worth catching with some skilled players tearing up the courts.

Volleyball Urban Rec presents three different formats of co-oed tournament play this year.
