Vancouver Men’s Chorus Rings in the Holidays for Family and for Charity

Every family has its traditions, some old and traditional while others are new and unconventional, but each one is centred around the special feeling of being together. This December celebrate the holidays with the Vancouver Men’s Chorus in Making Spirits Bright 2016: Family!

Founded in 1981, the Vancouver Men’s Chorus features 87 of Vancouver’s most talented, harmonious (and handsome) gay men and their friends. Musical style tends to be quite broad but mostly gravitates into the pop idiom. They also happen to be exceptionally well dressed in black tie garb (don’t worry, that’s Chorus dress code only).

The Chorus is a registered non-profit that sees a total of about 12 performances a year across two productions; you can feel good about the proceeds of your ticket supporting charitable organizations and events such as the Vancouver AIDS Walk.

Making Spirits Bright 2016: Family will be performed at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 1130 Jervis street on December 10th, 11th, 15th, and 16th for evening performances, as well as for matinees on the 11th and 17th.

Feeling extra generous? Patron tickets are available online only for $87 which includes a $50 tax receipt, reserved seating, and no lines!

General admission is available online and through the Scotiabank at Robson and Bute for $37, and every ticket sold through the Robson St Scotiabank branch will be matched in donation by the bank.
