See What’s Happening During Vancouver’s Indulgence Season

Being on the edge of ocean and mountains in a temperate rainforest, Vancouver is blissfully set apart from much of Canada this time of year by having a lush, green, and mild winter. It’s chilly enough outside to want to indulge in all the warm foods, cocktails, and to hunker down for awhile at one of the events going on in the city, but not too cold to step out with little more than a warm sweater, cozy scarf and a jacket and get to them.

For the rest of winter, from now until the end of March, there are nearly non-stop events and activities. The Dine Out Vancouver festival (Jan. 19 – Feb. 4) kicks off with culinary events across the city and in over 300 restaurants. After your meals, catch a work of multi-disciplinary performance art at the PuSH Festival (Jan. 16 – Feb. 4), or head to the Vancouver Opera (Jan. 21 – 27), or cheer loudly at the Canada vs. Uruguay world qualifier rugby match (Jan. 27). That’s just January.

A full list of Vancouver’s Indulgence Season events is here, including the Vancouver Wine Festival, Lunar New Year, and the JFL NorthWest Comedy Festival – as well as a chance to win an Indulgence Season prize package.
