Cheers! Adults-Only Evenings at Playland will return for 2018

Last year, Playland at the PNE introduced their new “Playland Nights” adults-only evenings. Back by popular demand, the event will be returning for 2018 and will run every Friday night from 7:00pm to midnight from June 22 to July 27.

These fun, kid-free events are for those 19 and older and feature endless amusement with food, drinks, games, and of course, exhilarating rides. Bonus: the entire grounds will be fully licensed, so attendees can enjoy their favourite adult beverage while wandering around the park.

This year, Playland Nights will be even better with guest DJs spinning party tunes all night, Playland-inspired cocktails, craft beer and wine, a new virtual reality racing experience, and burlesque shows “featuring nostalgic carnival glamour, and atmospheric entertainment.” And, because what is drinking without a little danger, there will also be an axe-throwing station to test out your hand-eye coordination.

Tickets are already on sale for the adults-only evenings and you can purchase them online ahead of time to save a few dollars. The evenings tend to get extremely busy and some nights may even sell out, so if you have a specific date in mind – make sure you buy a ticket soon.

Also new this year, Playland Nights is introducing VIP offerings to provide exclusive benefits for discerning guests looking for an elevated experience. VIP ticket holders get express park entry, can skip the line at ten different rides, and exclusive access to a VIP bar.

General admission costs $31.00 in advance (or online) and $34.00 at the gate. VIP tickets will cost you $81.00 in advance (or online) or $84.00 at the gate.

The adults-only evenings at Playland will be happening on June 22 & 29, July 6, 13, 20, and 27.
