Have you ever wished Morgan Freeman’s deep and soothing voice could narrate your life? We are one step closer to making that a reality. For a limited time, Morgan Freeman will be the voice of TransLink, making public service announcements at select Metro Vancouver SkyTrain and bus stations.
You can thank Visa Canada and TransLink for this fun and educational campaign. As part of TransLink’s new tap-to-pay feature, Morgan Freeman has recorded 11 announcements to inform passengers that they can use their credit card to access the transit network.
Commuters wanting to hear Morgan Freeman’s voice narrating their commute can hop on one of the six different bus routes and select SkyTrain stations between June 4 and July 29. The recognizable voice will also greet fans over the public announcement system at the end of B.C. Lions home games on June 8, June 16 and July 14.
