Prepare to spend some quality time at one of Vancouver’s many upcoming big family events this spring. As the school year gets closer to the end, with summer break on the horizon, there are a handful of stimulating activities, festivals, and exhibitions aimed at entertaining both kids and adults coming soon for families to gather for a whole day of fun together.

Entertain your kids at the 46th annual Vancouver International Children’s Festival (VICF) in person on Granville Island from May 30 to June 4 and online from May 30-June 23. Families will enjoy a full program of world-class theatre, music, dance, circus, puppetry, and storytelling performers coming to entertain Vancouver children and families.
It’s a good weekend to be a kid; the International Children’s Festival is on, there’s a ballet production of Cinderella and an adventure playground pop-up. Or you can re-live some childhood memories with comedians recalling high school stories and a production of music from the Final Fantasy games.
