Dining Out for Life Vancouver – March 29, 2012

Is there anything better—or easier—than giving to a worthy charity just by dining out at one of your favourite Vancouver restaurants? That’s the premise behind B.C.’s largest restaurant fundraiser, the annual Dining Out for Life Vancouver, during which 250+ participating restaurants donate 25% of their sales to the HIV/AIDS charities A Loving Spoonful and Friends For Life.

Dining Out for Life Vancouver (and Whistler) happens for one day only on March 29, 2012. Participating restaurants run the gamut from high-end to family- and budget-friendly, and represent a huge diversity of cuisine, from the fashionable comfort food at North Vancouver’s Beachside Forno to the amazing mussels at Gastown’s Chambar Belgian Restaurant to Kitsilano’s casual Mexican cantina Las Margaritas.

Called the “easiest good deed you’ll do this year”—it’s certainly the most delicious—Dine Out for Life is a one-day-only event happening this Thursday, March 25.

For that one day, 200+ participating restaurants will donate 25% of their food revenues to the HIV/AIDS charities A Loving Spoonful and Friends For Life. So: The more you eat, the more good you do! (Talk about a perfect excuse for dessert….)
