IT is captivating cinema-goers across North America and beyond with its expertly captured throwback to Stephen King’s horrifying novel. The movie achieves a perfect blend between compelling storyline and terrifying portrayal of a fear-manifesting clown guaranteed to haunt viewers’ nightmares. Now, IT is resurfacing yet again in a fan-funded documentary that takes a deep dive into the makings of both movies – the recently released spookfest as well as the original 1990 miniseries, the latter of which was filmed in Vancouver and surrounding regions. Outdoor Movie Alert: Catch a Public Screening of L’arbitro at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza

L'ARBITRO

Il Centro Italian Cultural Centre, with the help of Civic Theatres of Vancouver, will be organizing and running a free public event at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza.  A screening of Paolo Zucca’s 2013 film L’arbitro will be held in the theatre’s outdoor plaza and will be free to the public to attend. Although the movie starts at sunset, the evening begins at 7:00 p.m. with live musical entertainment. There will be food trucks present and the bar, concession, and outdoor patio of the Queen Elizabeth theatre will be open throughout the evening.
