To celebrate their 25th anniversary, the Vancouver Police Museum is throwing a prohibition-themed shindig next Friday, April 8 at the Biltmore. This fundraising event is inspired by their ever-popular Sins of the City Tour (which we blogged about just recently!).

Get ready to dress up in your best pin stripes and flapper dresses, and experience an evening of music, Vaudeville and burlesque. There will be prizes for the best dressed, so get creative!

Food and Wine at the Vancouver Aquarium

Is it wrong to eat fish inside the aquarium?  What if it’s sustainable and Ocean Wise certified?

Those questions and more will be on the minds of guests at the Vancouver Aquarium’s fourth annual Toast to the Coast on Friday, Oct. 22, a glitzy fundraising event held right in the aquarium.  Up to 500 aquarium lovers are expected to crowd inside, sharing space with the belugas, caymans and octopuses for a lavish night of eating, drinking and raising money for a good cause.
