Growing up, the Vancouver International Children’s Festival was a childhood highlight. I can still remember dancing to the music of Canada’s top children’s entertainers, such as Fred Penner and Charlotte Diamond. Thanks to the recent opening of the very first North American location of L’Éclair de Génie – the haute Parisian-based patisserie which has just opened its doors in Vancouver, the sweet éclairs are closer than you think. If you’re looking for an excuse to indulge, check out my 3 reasons to treat your tots (and yourself!) to this must-have, perfectly-piped pastry.
