Last Call for Olympic and Paralympic Fun

Sunday marks the end of more than a month of Olympic and Paralympic revelry in Vancouver. After that, the banners come down, the athletes pack up and the pavilions close their doors for good.  But beautiful weather promises to make Sunday a perfect time to get your last Olympic kicks at attractions in and around the city.

Just one word of advice. Set your alarm clock.

Top 5 Reasons to Visit LiveCity Downtown . . . before it’s too late

Get 'em before they're gone: Free Manitoba polar bear stress balls.

One of the city’s official party zones during the Olympic and Paralympic Games, LiveCity Downtown has been up and running for more than a month now.  Haven’t had a chance to check it out yet?  Now’s the best time.  Lines during the Paralympic Games have been shorter than ever (actually, nearly nonexistent), and Vancouver’s last bastion of Olympic excitement closes its doors forever on Sunday.   To get you motivated, I’ve put together the top five reasons to get out to LiveCity Downtown . . . before it’s too late.

Robson Square Celebration Site will reopen March 8 - 21 for the Vancouver 2010 Paralympics

Last night, my girlfriends and I got together for dinner and the conversation kept straying back to the one thing all of Vancouver is talking about: Olympic withdrawal.

After 17 amazing days of excitement, world-class sports, record-breaking numbers of Canadian gold medals, and seemingly endless nightly parties—both inside international houses and on the streets of downtown Vancouver—it’s hard to adjust to a city that’s gone back to “normal.”

Next best thing to Canada Hockey Place?: LiveCity Downtown

Just blocks from Canada Hockey Place, could LiveCity Downtown be the next best thing?
