If you’ve lived in Vancouver long enough – and have the patience to wait in the nightly queue – you’ve probably had the pleasure of sampling the lamb popsicles or Rajasthani-style goat meat or spot prawn curry at Vij’s, the restaurant off Granville that the New York Times declared “easily among the finest Indian restaurants in the world.”
