Inside Vancouver Photo Contest Winner Announced

Our first Inside Vancouver was a real success, with 577 photos submitted. There were some incredible photos to choose from, making it difficult to select a winner.

One photo however did stand out from the rest. Tony Einfeldt submitted a number of photos, but his photo of Burrard Bridge with the fishing boats in the foreground really caught our eye. The moody blues and greys are so vivid it almost resembles an oil painting. Congratulations Tony!

Photo Contest – one week left to enter

I’m happy to announce that we’ve received almost 500 photos so far in our first Inside Vancouver photo contest. I haven’t had a chance to look through them all yet, but from what I’ve seen the judges are going to have their work cut out for them.

Here’s a small sampling of what’s been submitted so far. Remember, you’ve still got one more week to enter. I know the prize this time isn’t going to allow anyone to retire early, but hey, a hundred bucks is a hundred bucks right?

Inside Vancouver has just launched a new photo contest on Flickr!

We are looking for your your favourite Vancouver photos. Close ups or panoramics. Hidden spots or popular favourites. We want them all.

The process couldn’t be simpler. Just upload your photos to the Inside Vancouver Flickr group, tag them with the words “Vancouver” and “Inside Vancouver”. Contest closes midnight June 30 2009.

We will select our favourite and award the winner with a $100 gift card which can be used at the Pacific Centre mall in Vancouver.
