Art, Eat and Sip: A Delicious Self-Guided Tour of Vancouver’s Granville Island

The highly anticipated 15th annual Dine Out Vancouver launches tomorrow (cue the trumpets)! If you don’t already have restaurant reservations lined up, don’t despair. There is still plenty of availability to choose from among the 284 restaurants participating with prix fixe menus ($20, $30, $40).

As well, the over 100 food experience events are also promising to be a culinary blast! One I’m particularly looking forward to combines three of my favourite things: art, food and drink, and Granville Island.

Learn about Sustainable Seafood at “From Boat to Table” at the Vancouver Aquarium

Vancouver is blessed with access to incredible fresh seafood, which can be enjoyed in restaurants around the city. Part of what makes our seafood culture so special is an increased willingness to make sustainability a priority, both in consciousness and in action.

November has been designated Ocean Wise month! In honour of this celebration, the Vancouver Aquarium and Vancouver Foodster’s Food Talks are presenting “From Boat to Table: The Sustainable Seafood Supply Chain,” a fun, interactive, and educational event on November 2, 2016.

Pizza Palooza is February’s Cheesiest Event in Vancouver

This Wednesday, February 17, Vancouver is celebrating all things pizza with an exciting pizza tasting extravaganza hosted by local food bloggers Vancouver Foodster and Tasting Plates YVR.

The tour will take you through a variety of pizza-based restaurants and include a stop at a pizza themed art show during the event. Sound cheesy enough for you?
