Condé Nast Traveler Gives Vancouver “Gold Medal” for Chinese Food

Just in time for the 2010 Olympics, famous taste arbiter Condé Nast Traveler has given Vancouver the “Gold Medal” for the best Chinese food in North America–and maybe the world.

In the February 2010 issue, food writer Mark Schatzker not only declares Vancouver’s Cantonese, Shanghainese, and Szechuan restaurants better than San Francisco’s and New York’s, he seems to agree with local Chinese food critic and writer Stephanie Yuen, who, though originally from Hong Kong, thinks “Vancouver is home to the best Chinese food in the world. Period.
