Bike to Work Week Barbecue celebration: Bring your bike and enthusiasm!

To cap off   Bike to Work Week, May 31 – June 4, 2010, the Vancouver Area Cycling Coalition will be hosting a free BBQ celebration at Creekside Park just outside Science World on Friday, June 4, 2010  4:30 pm – 7:00 pm.  It will be on rain or shine.  Click here for more details.

At 5:30 pm, there will be an official dedication by Mayor Gregor Robertson on behalf for the City of Vancouver for bike rack sculpture artist, Spring Gillard  on her Solar Bike Tree.

Do cycle over and join us. There will be lots of cycling information, entertainment, some food, free bike valet  parking and free bike maintenance.  If cycling feels solitary at times, this BBQ and dropping by bike commuter stations listed below, means a great opportunity to meet fellow cyclists.

Every morning and early evening you can cycle over to bike commuting stations throughout Metro Vancouver for coffee, snacks, information and bike maintenance checks.  Check for times and a location closest to your commute.
