Vancouver’s New Pop-Up Restaurant

Vancouver’s new pop-up restaurant 100 days is on the scene in Vancouver for yep, you guessed it, 100 days only! John deC. Evans, President & CEO of OPUS Hotels, was inspired by many pop-up concepts in London and New York City, and decided  to use the opportunity of a transition period between the old Elixir and their new restaurant to do something completely unexpected and unique. At the end of the one hundred days, the space will be renovated into a new permanent restaurant space for the OPUS Hotel.

In just six days, the 100 Days crew stripped back the space that once was Elixir Bistro to create their new, edgy space. Designed by interior designer Robert Bailey, the space has an industrial feel to it and graffiti artist Vince Dumoulin has splashed the walls and menus with his street and pop-inspired art to bring an edge to this space. Vince will be adding to and changing his work over the 100 days, making each visit unique.

The menu contains an eclectic mix of dishes ranging from Italian-inspired bruschetta, bar classics like buffalo wings and popcorn chicken, a touch of English cuisine with a  hearty  Lamb Wellington  and a  luxurious Lobster Mac & Cheese. Move your evening seamlessly from dinner into the night with a move to the bar, where a DJ provides the soundtrack to accompany reinvented kitsch drink classics such as the Blue Lagoon and Sex on the Beach.

Get in quick – 100 Days will be gone before you know it!
