Peer into Artists’ Studios during Eastside Culture Crawl

November 26 to 28

The Eastside Culture Crawl is a free, annual, three-day visual arts festival that allows the curious to poke their noses into over 300 artists’ studios in some 50 buildings in East Vancouver.

Now in its 14th year, more than 10,000 people annually venture out to view the artistic talent of painters, jewellers, sculptors, furniture makers, musicians, weavers, potters, writers, printmakers, photographers and glassblowers. The Culture Crawl gives visitors the opportunity to purchase something local: choose a piece that strikes your fancy, commission something to be uniquely yours, or just browse through the studios and meet the artists.

  1. Stop by Octopus Studios (393 Powell). I’ll be showing selections from three series of urban photographs. Some images can be seen at http://www.photic.ca
