Dine Out Vancouver 2011 ‘Best Bite Awards’ Winners

The food has been eaten, the dishes have been washed and the votes have been tallied for the Dine Out Vancouver 2011 Best Bite Awards!

The public were able to vote in six categories, and the winners are…. (drum roll please)…..

* Best $18 Dine Out Vancouver menu: Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co.
* Best $28 Dine Out Vancouver menu: Hapa Izakaya
* Best $38 Dine Out Vancouver menu: A tie between Provence Mediterranean Grill and Kitsilano Daily Kitchen

* Best Service: Hart House Restaurant
* Best British Columbia VQA Wine Pairing: db Bistro Moderne
* Best Overall Dine Out Vancouver Experience: Provence Mediterranean Grill

People who voted in the Best Bite Awards went into the draw to win the Dine Out For A Year contest which consisted of 52 restaurant gift certificates (that’s one restaurant a week for a whole  year!). Vancouver local Pierre Gauthier was the lucky winner of this great prize, who dined at Provence Marinaside during Dine Out.

With 215 restaurants participating, plus a slew of fantastic food-orientated events this year, I can’t wait to see what the 10th anniversary of Dine Out Vancouver will bring to the table in 2012.
