Araxi Longtable @ North Arm Farm – A Unique Summer Dining Experience

Araxi Longtable @ North Arm Farm

Whistler’s Araxi Restaurant is of the most acclaimed restaurants in B.C.; it’s also famous for its Executive Chef James Walt and his fresh, seasonal menus that celebrate local ingredients from nearby Pemberton Valley farms, where he collaborates frequently with local growers.

It’s that collaboration with local farmers that inspired the Araxi Longtable @ North Arm Farm, a series of outdoor, fine-dining experiences at Pemberton’s picturesque North Arm Farm taking place on July 2, July 30, August 27 and September 11, 2011.

Each Araxi Longtable event begins with a reception and farm tour with North Arm Farm’s proprietor Jordan Sturdy, followed by a four-course menu featuring the valley’s freshest local produce (dozens of ingredients are grown just footsteps from Chef Walt’s outdoor kitchen), beef from its pastures, day-boat catches from their coastal fishery, and wines from leading producers.

The $160 cost per person is all inclusive, covering the reception, four-course menu, wine, tax and gratuity. Return executive transportation from Whistler Village is available for an additional $35 per person, including tax.
