Jersey Boys coming to Vancouver this fall: Get tix now

It’s a success story worthy of American Idol.  Four nobodies from Newark, New Jersey, form a rock band and – in a career that spans decades and features dozens of hummable hits, everything from Walk Like a Man to Oh, What a Night – end up selling 175 million records.

The amazing tale of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, told in the runaway hit musical Jersey Boys, has won over audiences around the world.  And now it’s coming to Vancouver.

Jersey Boys will be at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre from Sept. 5-Sept. 23.  The performances remain months away and online ticketing hasn’t started yet.  But . . . there is a way you can get tickets now.All you have to do is call the company, DanCap Productions, to book tickets now:  416-644-3665 or 866-950-7469.  Tickets for Vancouver shows range from $60-$165.  And if the Jersey Boys’ past success is any indication (12 million tickets sold worldwide), the tickets won’t last long.

Jersey Boys premiered on Broadway in 2005 and has since been staged around the world.  Countless Four Seasons hits are performed live as part of the show, which tells of the formation, rise and eventual breakup of the band.  Fittingly, the musical is broken into four parts or seasons, with each band member narrating a different season, from spring – when the band is first struggling to get on its feet – to winter – when the group finally begins to crumble.

The setting for the Vancouver show couldn’t be more ideal.  The 3,000-seat Queen Elizabeth Theatre is the premier theatrical showcase in Vancouver, modern and spacious, with an ample stage and excellent sound.  For more information on Jersey Boys in Vancouver, check out the official website.
