Bring together two of the biggest names in Canadian rock history in one of the country’s most spectacular seaside parks and what do you get?

Voices in the Park – the biggest ticketed event in the history of Vancouver’s waterfront Stanley Park, featuring Bryan Adams and Grammy-award-winning vocalist Sarah McLachlan, not to mention a few other names you may recognize.

The concert is staged in Brockton Oval in the heart of Stanley Park, 1,000 acres of old- and second-growth forest, waterfront promenades, gardens and lakes right in downtown Vancouver. The outdoor, seaside location at Brockton Oval offers vistas of both the Vancouver skyline and soaring Coast Mountains.

The full line-up includes former Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks, multi-platinum pop group Hedley, Canadian-born singer and songwriter Jann Arden, Juno-award winner Chin Injeti, Latin rockers The Boom Booms and a performance by the Vancouver Men’s Chorus. Plus, former US President Bill Clinton will be making a speech.

The concert is a benefit for the Sarah McLachlan School of Music. A Vancouver resident, McLachlan founded the school to offer free music education for underserved and at risk children facing challenging circumstances.

General admission tickets are $85 (just $10 for kids 12 and under). For full details, visit the Voices in the Park website.
