The Hopscotch Festival is back and bigger than ever this year. Last year, the whisky, beer, and spirits festival had the distinction of being named 1 of the 10 best drinking festivals in the world by MSN Travel UK. This year, the Hopscotch Festival is ready to make it the best one yet. The festival is the largest combined whisky and beer festival in Canada and features tastings, satellite dinners, and master classes. The Hopscotch Festival takes place this year from November 11th-17th.

The Grand Tasting Hall will take place at the PNE Forum on November 15th and 16th. With over 125 booths and more than 400 products to taste, there’s sure to be something for everyone. In addition to whisky, scotch, and craft beer, there will also be vodka, gin, rum, tequila, and liqueur. Everyone is welcome to sip, taste, and learn about the many products at the Grand Tasting Hall. The event also includes food and musical entertainment by Goby Catt.

The satellite dinners pair meals with special tasting events at locations around Vancouver, including some of the best restaurants in the city. Most of the dinners are custom made for the event and custom paired with a particular whisky, while a guest host  talks about topics related to the meal and drinks. The satellite dinners are the premium experience of the Festival and often sell out.

Lastly, the master classes provide an opportunity to learn about your favourite products. World-class speakers lead small, intimate groups on many topics related to whisky, scotch, beer, and other spirits. The classes take participants through the stories and details of your favourite companies and products.

A number of the Hopscotch Festival events have sold out already, so get your tickets fast! For more information and to buy tickets, please visit the Hopscotch Festival website.
