Proving that Vancouver’s appetite for all things Star Wars and burlesque is insatiable, Star Wars: A Nude Hope is returning following two sold-out performances in November.

On Dec. 14 and 15, local troupe the Geekenders are back at the Rio Theatre with two more performances of the Star Wars parody-with-tassels. Join Han, Luke and Leia as you’ve never seen them before. A Nude Hope features a cast of 25 “nerdlesque” performers who turn all the Star Wars clichés inside-out. The show features Storm Troopers, Darth Vader reimagined as a dominatrix, a Millennium Falcon replica, costumes and confetti and much more, all designed to put a new spin on childhood memories of the classic space opera.

Check out this list of cast names, if you want a taste of what to expect:

Draco Muff-Boi as Luke Skywalker

Draco Muff-Boi as Luke Skywalker
Sherry Hymen as Darth Vader
Trixie Hobbitses as Princess Leia Organa
Stephen Blakley as Han Solo
Anita Johnson as Chewbacca
Nathan Fillyouin as Obi-Wan Kenobi
Graeme Thompson as C3PO
Experiment 5318008 as R2D2
Chai Tea as Grand Moff Tarkin

If you’re looking for a way to warm up in these cold temperatures, this is certainly one way to do it. Act fast, though – if response is anything like it was to the first shows, these are going to sell out quickly.
