This weekend, schedule some time to check out BC’s largest adventure & travel show that will be taking over the Vancouver Convention Centre East Building to offer pre-season deals, product demos, exhibitions, live speakers, and even a whitewater demo pool for adventure lovers in Vancouver.

Ignite (or re-ignite) your passion for biking, hiking, running, paddling, boarding, or scuba diving at The Outdoor Adventure Show that will be hosting over 200 exhibits on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 10:00am – 6:00pm and Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 10:00am – 5:00pm.

The show is separated into 9 different themed zones, each based on a different style of adventure, including: a camping showcase, canoe & kayak zone, running & triathlon pavilion, Vancouver Bike Show and more.

Whether you’re already an avid outdoors-man or woman, or you’d love to start spending more time in the wild, The Outdoor Adventure Show is the place to be this weekend in Vancouver. You’ll have the chance to meet experienced guides who can help you plan your next dream getaway or simply be inspired by outdoor celebrities and thrilling adventure travel presentations.

The Outdoor Adventure Show is also a family affair as kids are encouraged to enroll in the Junior Outdoor Adventurers program where they can grab a passport and head around the show to learn all about the great outdoors while collecting stamps to earn prizes.

But, the biggest draw for the show has got to be the whitewater demo pool where you can watch professional demonstrations of kayak, paddle, and underwater sports in a 30′ x 50′ wave pool. You can also jump in yourself and learn how to scuba, snorkel, and paddle, or test out the latest equipment in a wavy and wet environment.

Tickets are $12 each for adults, Youths aged 12 – 17 and Seniors 60+ are $10, and $15 each for the weekend pass. Children 11 and under are Free.

The Vancouver Outdoor Adventure Show runs from March 8-9 at the Vancouver Convention Centre East Building from 10am – 6pm on Saturday, and 10am-5pm on Sunday.
