Red Truck Beer Company announces summer concert series

The Red Truck Beer Company is getting set to open its new facilities on 1st Avenue in East Vancouver. To add to the excitement, the craft brewery has announced a summer parking lot concert series.

The kickoff show in June 13 and features local band Five Alarm Funk. There are four more concerts in the series.

The outdoor concerts will be held over four summer Saturday afternoons. Other bands featured include The Trews, Head of the Herd and country singer Logan Mize .

The Red Truck Parking Lot Concert Series is set to debut just after the Red Truck Brewery opens its on-site restaurant, The Truck Stop Diner, on June 3. The concert series will take place in the Red Truck Brewery’s outdoor lot and will, naturally, feature a variety of Red Truck Beer as well as food trucks, bands, and DJs.

Besides Five Alarm Funk, the June 13 kick-off show also features Tonye Aganabe, Kutapira and Vinyl Ritchie. The following concerts take place on July 11, August 15 and September 12. Other acts in the series include The Dudes, No Sinner, Good For Grapes, and Rich Hope.

Concerts begin at 6 p.m. Tickets for the 1st Red Truck Parking Lot Concert at Rd Truck Brewing Company (295 E 1st) go on sale at 10 a.m. on May 8 at redtruck.brownpapertickets.com. For more info and updates visit redtruckbeer.com/concertseries.
