We think an outdoor concert with cool Canadian bands and some of the best local craft beer around sounds like the perfect summer day – don’t you?
Grab some tickets, now on sale, for the July 9th show focusing on Canadian talent, presented by Roundhouse Radio. Two stages at Red Truck Brewing will showcase six bands, starting at 4pm and throughout the night until 10pm, a fun summer afternoon and evening of great music.
Headlining the concert is Ottawa-based Hollerado, touring songs from their upcoming album of spiky pop. Old Man Canyon is a band with a groove-oriented sound with vintage synthesizers and electric guitars. Bend Sinister is back after a 2 year from performing in Vancouver, and Calgary’s HighKicks are the stuff of bar band legend.
Rounding out the bill are two Vancouver bands. Little India won the Shore 104.3 FM’s Best of BC in 2014, and we defy you to try not to groove to their electronic beats and 80s pop inspired sound. Redeye Empire is a local favorite, a blend of rock guitar rifts and reggae beats.
Tickets for the Truck Stop Concert Series #2 are $35 and can be bought through www.redtruckbeer.com, where full event details are available.
