You still have time to get some winter wonderland into your holiday season. The Sea to Sky Gondola, just south of Squamish, is just a few minutes away from Vancouver – and extra easy to access if you hop the shuttle service from numerous places downtown.
Events to bring the whole family to? Grab the kids and settle in at the cozy Summit Lodge for Twas the Night Before Christmas Storytime + Santa, Thursday, December 22, from 10:30am-1:30pm. Right after Santa’s visit ( he does have to get back to his North Pole workshop after all) try your hand at holiday crafts and cookie decorating.
Headlamp Hike over the Holidays. Every day between now and January 1st (excluding Christmas Eve and Christmas Day) from 4pm-5pm, experience a peaceful night time hike or snowshoe in the snowy forest. This guided headlamp tour eventually leads you to the Summit Lodge for the new Après menu.
And speaking of, between now and January 1st, 3:30pm – 6:30pm, kick back after a day in the great outdoors with cocoa or a wintery stew, other seasonal fare off the new Après Menu overlooking the spectacular view from the Summit Lodge. Excludes December 24 and 25.
