It’s Just Drag! Vancouver Drag Queens with RuGirls Roxxy Andrews and Naomi Smalls

By Kendell Yan

Vancouver, start your engines and may the best woman win! If you’re still reeling from the holiday hooplah, whether it be from one too many narrowly escaped political discussions with extended family members, that turkey induced food baby you’re still trying to work out, or the hangover from a year that just wouldn’t quit (thanks, 2016 but it’s gonna be a no for me), head to the Commodore on January 13th for It’s Just Drag! to help kick your year off right.

It’s Just Drag! will be hosted by Empress XXVIII Joan-E and tipsy aunt Shanda Leer, and will feature over 30 local drag performers, including Rose Butch, the Bratpack girls, Carlotta Gurl, Jaylene Tyme, Coco Klein, Adam Zapple, and Peach Cobblah. In addition to these incredibly talented and hard working local grrrls, It’s Just Drag! welcomes RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 5/ All Stars 2 “thick and juicy” queen Roxxy Andrews, and Season 8 “all legs no dairy” queen Naomi Smalls.
