Three New Vancouver Ocean Adventures for Summer 2017

Deep Cove Kayak’s Friday Night Lights Tour

Experience Indian Arm in the still of night with Deep Cove Kayak’s new Friday Night Lights kayak tour, running June 2 to September 1. Paddle into the tranquil waters of the Arm at dusk in a well-illuminated kayak on this 2.5 hour guided tour. Experienced guides will share stories about wildlife and the First Nations history of the area. If you’re lucky, you might see the magical bioluminescence glowing in the water around you! Pacific Ferries’ Howe Sound Day Excursion

Take in stunning natural scenery and explore coastal living with Pacific Ferries’ new Howe Sound Day Excursion and Sightseeing Cruise, offered seven days a week, May 15 through September 15. Board in Coal Harbour in downtown Vancouver, then cruise along the West Vancouver shoreline and into the breathtaking and scenic Howe Sound before arriving at Gibsons Landing on the Sunshine Coast. Stretch your legs and spend two hours exploring this quaint seaside town before departing for Bowen Island where you’ll spend another hour experiencing small island living – enjoy Bowen’s famous ice cream, visit local shops and picnic in the park. Vancouver Water Adventures’ City & Seal Tour

From cityscapes to Seal Island, Vancouver Water Adventures’ City & Seal Tour brings urban adventure and wildlife together. Zip along the coastline of English Bay, out to Lighthouse park, over to the Seal Colony at Pam Rocks and back into False Creek in a 30-foot Zodiac that travels up to 80 km/h. You’ll see Stanley Park, English Bay Beach, Lions Gate Bridge, the beautiful homes of West Vancouver, offshore freighters, Seal Colony, Siwash Rock, Jericho Sailing Centre, Kitsilano Beach, Granville Island, Yaletown and much more.
