En route, her car crashes and she awakens with amnesia – and, of course, a handsome stranger is perfectly placed to take her in and nurse her back to health. The movie was filmed at sites in and around Vancouver, including the Maple Ridge Equestrian Centre.

The attraction  As Hallmark reminds us, Christmas has the wondrous ability to evoke warm and fuzzy feelings in even the most cold-hearted Scrooge. This year, send shivers down your spine at a performance of Handel’s Messiah performed by the Vancouver Bach Choir (December 9). The captivating melodies and impressive crescendos are enhanced by the acoustics of host venue the Orpheum Theatre, creating a haven of hauntingly beautiful music.
