Go “Behind The Brew” with Cycle City’s Craft Beer Bicycle Tour

For a unique very Vancouver experience, just in time for Bike Month and Craft Beer Week, consider Cycle City‘s Craft Beer Bicycle Tour. Guests will get the chance to ride an electric bike through Vancouver’s most interesting neighbourhoods and visit 3 award-winning Craft Breweries for a sampling of tasty brews, brunch and a behind-the-scenes tour.

Perfect for beer lovers and bike enthusiasts, the tour starts off in Downtown Vancouver and heads east towards Railtown’s Settlement Building, a heritage building now turned brewery and restaurant. Here, you’ll enjoy your first sampling of three beers from Postmark Brewing and a light brunch from Belgard Kitchen.

For your second stop, you’ll ride through Strathcona, one of the oldest residential neighbourhoods in Vancouver. You’ll notice quickly that the booming craft beer scene has and is continuing to revitalize the neighbourhood’s industrial spaces. You’ll stop at Bomber Brewing for your second sampling of beer and go behind-the-scenes to learn about bike infrastructure and beer packaging.

For the third and final stop, you’ll head south towards Mount Pleasant, to find yourself in the Brewery Creek district. This up & coming area is considered the birthplace of Vancouver brewing and for good reason! During your tour, you’ll learn all about the historic background of the area, including the 100-year-old heritage brewery known as Main Street Brewing Co, where you’ll enjoy the final 3 tasters.
