Hit the gym

Not so original, but the gym will keep you indoors and is a tried and true way to get your sweat on. Many of Vancouver’s hotels have state-of-the-art fitness facilities and are open 24 hours, and some offer the option of requesting a personal trainer.

Top Tip: If you’re worried about that gym membership you bought at the beginning of the month, most gyms have the option to put your membership on hold when you’re travelling. So you won’t miss out on the rest of that free month you signed up for. #winwin

Hit the slopes

Though it doesn’t snow very often in the city, the North Shore mountains give Vancouverites easy access to some of the best downhill and cross-country ski and snowboarding facilities in North America.

If skiing or snowboarding isn’t your things, snowshoeing and snow-tubing are excellent ways to stay active in the snow!
